Week 115 - Cutting right to the chase this week. Summer is nearly here, as is mild to moderate chaos for our schedules due to travel, school (or lack-thereof), and camp schedules. You've gotten your booster (if eligible), you have a good supply of well-fitting masks, and your hand-washing game is A+. You are ready for this!
If there's anything I've learned from having to isolate so deeply at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, it's that online workouts have immense value for a few reasons:
You consistently honor the time we've set aside to move our bodies.
We connect with each other, helping to stave off feelings of isolation and loneliness.
You connect deeply with and within yourself by working out in the privacy of your home (or designated place), improving your ability to follow verbal and visual instruction.
We can focus on specific breathing exercises without being impeded by masks.
And these workout sequences are portable. We know it's important to take some time away from our routines. Sometimes you need a mini or micro workout as a body tune-up while you're traveling. Or when life just gets crazy and you're pressed for time.
So here's my updated list of props edited for travel. No paid content here, just products I like, I use in my online classes and at the studio, or come highly recommended:

ONLINE Balance and Flow GYROKINESIS®
Keep those two (2) yoga straps, and break out the long foam roller! Our focus for May is building on our shoulder mobility work from April, and connecting the pelvis to the arms.
Focusing on the ability of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® to increase circulation, mobilize and strengthen joints, and increase proprioceptive awareness, this Zoom class prepares the body for more confidence in standing balance work. Video available if you can't attend live.

Warmly,
